Synopsis

In the house where a father and daughter live, a heavy silence lingers between them, and an unbridgeable distance remains. The father toils at an inexplicable task, while the daughter goes through her days in quiet routine. But soon, a strange change overtakes his body—a black liquid begins to seep out. It unsettles their fragile bond, and spreads as if to engulf the world itself.

UGANA Kenichi, born in 1984, is a Japanese film director whose works have garnered acclaim at film festivals worldwide, including Toronto, Rotterdam, Sitges, and the Fantasia International Film Festival. A special screening of his works was held at the Kaohsiung Film Festival for two consecutive years.
