Synopsis
Yesterday Maybe evokes the suspended moments following the announcement of a loved one’s death, when reality falters and the mind struggles to grasp the irreversible.
Inspired by the first sentence of Camus’s The Stranger, the project delves into a swirl of memories, emotions, and absurdity, offering an intimate passage through grief and questioning our rituals in the face of the incomprehensible.

Matthieu VAN EECKHOUT
Matthieu Van Eeckhout is a director and screenwriter whose work spans short films and animated series (Petite routine, Tragédie Grouick, The Evening Cigarette) as well as commercial projects. He also develops immersive experiences, both for brands and personal projects, such as Caravaggio in Tenebris, created for ARTE.
