SILIQ
Synopsis
Set in a near future, SILIQ follows an advanced drone prototype on a classified cargo delivery mission across Taiwan. As it navigates landscapes through machine vision, it witnesses traditional rituals, everyday traditions, and traces of a rapidly changing world. Processing these encounters beyond its original programming, SILIQ begins to question the nature of memory, spirituality, and consciousness.
Blending speculative science fiction with Taiwanese mythology, the film explores whether an artificial intelligence can develop its own understanding of humanity, and ultimately make choices beyond the intentions of its creators.
