Golden Dream on Green Island
Synopsis
Four desperate people — a debt-ridden singer past his prime hoping for a comeback, a delivery man trying to save the preschool inherited by the girl he likes, and a divorced couple raising money for their piano prodigy son to study abroad — are guided to the famous Swallow Cave on Green Island by a treasure map left behind by a gangster boss decades ago, hoping to unearth the hidden gold that will relieve their financial burdens. But faced with unreliable Wi-Fi, treacherous terrain, and pesky coast guards, attaining their “gold dream” won’t be as easy as they imagined.

KITAMURA Toyoharu was born in Japan in 1974 and graduated from the Department of Motion Picture of National Taiwan University of Arts, after which he became a film and TV director, actor and Japanese restaurant owner. His films include Love You 10,000 Years and Forever Love.
