Slow Blink
Synopsis
A camera is locked upon a woman’s face, framed in a perpetual and intimate close-up. She tells us that “the last time we met, you forgot to close this hole in the top of my head and since then everything inside of me has been projected on my face, pouring out of my eyes for all to see…” And we see, stare, invest, and gaze at her face but we feel it, funnily enough, in our bodies. This film was made with over 300 still photographs taken with a Holga camera, and 8 rolls of black and white super 8 film.
