During a hot rural summer, a sheep shearer in the midst of adolescence struggles with a growing attraction to his colleague.
Gregory Oke grew up in an agricultural community in rural Herefordshire where he worked in carpentry after obtaining his undergraduate degree in History and Spanish from University College London.
His cinematography work has screened at a number of festivals (Sundance, SXSW, Vancouver). His most recent short été (2017) was awarded a grant of services by both Kodak and Film Factory Paris and premiered domestically at the Iris Prize, where it won a highly commended for the best British. The film was then chosen in the BAFTA long list for Best Short Film and has since played at Moscow International Film Festival, Palm Springs and will premiere online through the Short of the Week platform.
