寶京在首爾街頭被兩名青年誤認為失蹤多年的幼時玩伴，儘管寶京一再否認，仍耐不住對方的苦苦哀求，當作打工賺外快，隨他們返鄉頂替下落不明的女孩，慰藉其重病老父的思念。沒想到這趟意外的旅程，竟成為寶京重新開始的契機……。本片改編自日本作家平安壽子短篇集「非比尋常的一天」中的「即興家庭」，曾與李準基合作《一枝梅》的新生代女星韓孝珠，以片中內斂低調的演出獲得新加坡影展最佳女演員獎的肯定。

Bo-kyung, a girl living in Seoul happens to meet Ki-yong, who has just arrived from the countryside. He asks her to come down to the countryside to meet an old man who misses his runaway daughter. Despite her hesitation, she gets in Ki-yong’s car. She feels strange when she encounters the old man and others in the countryside, but soon becomes interested in their lives.
